The Fire Beetle:

Native to the fire isle this beetle is nothing to play with! 

It lives harmoniously with it's natural habitat, feeding on the hot volcanic ash surrounding Mount Mox. 

It can be easily spotted because of it's incredibly strong razor talons (meant for scraping volcanic rock but can

 scythe through skin like butter in a pinch) located on it's beak and when agitated flames can be seen clearly 

emanating from it's carapace. Though these beetles can be quite docile when interacting with each other, that

 can change quickly if they perceive any threat to themselves or their queen. The fire beetle is a delicacy to the

 Kobold miners, a mainstay ingredient for fire spells used by goblin shamans and the bane of Malric Inferno's

 existence who can be heard screaming at the serpentine soldiers that "If  I step on one more of these beetles, It

 will be the crunching of your skulls you hear next!"
