I decided to buy some cards as well. I spent 5.6 STEEM on the starter pack and 4 booster packs. As a long-time Magic The Gathering player I am still excited about the investment even if the value of the cards doesn't increase!
oh yeah! These things could even have special RARE holographic cards that could have Animated GIFs and also we could have contests to allow steemians to vote on additions of new cards with new powers, oh man were going to have some great tournaments and Apps and this could end up making steem actually popular enough to make people want to really start using this as a social media platform, I can see us making a NICE Kid friendly app with parental controls where you can easily instantly block people and certain posts with certain words just get automatically blocked etc, I see this whole field as having SO much potential!
