I like to use the cockatrice towards the back of my cards

with low hit points it can last a little longer there

it helps if the opponent doesnt have flying or archers - it's harder to hit

my strategy worked for this particular battle - i think the tank healer helps as well

i usually only use cockatrice for low mana battles or earthquake battles - i should upgrade it a little - but meh, i has teh brokeness
