🎉 Steem Monsters 🐉 Alpha Edition cards sold out! Beta is coming! 🎉

Steem Monsters made history tonight (in germany)! The last 6,000 Alpha booster packs were sold in minutes! It was like counting at New Years Eve 3k..2k..1k..sold out!
Now we have 300k booster packs = 1,500,000 Alpha cards in circulation which will be never released again.
300,000 booster packs sold!
This is a huge success for Steem blockchain! It shows clearly how many transactions the blockchain can handle to support whole new ecosystems with transfer of value, in this case non fungible token or virtual cards.
Alpha is stronger than Beta - XP Advantage
You will need more of the upcoming Beta cards to get same amount of XP for battles, so if you can get alpha cards it could be an advantage. This is possible via the secondary market now.
The Beta stage has even more surprises like new cards, which you may have seen already in the new Steem Monsters logo.

It really was amazing being there in the #SteemMonsters Discord with Yaba and Aggy as those last 6,000 booster packs sold out. What an atmosphere! I would have loved to buy some more myself, but I need to wait for more post rewards to come in first. I'll have to buy up individual cards on the secondary market now ... hmmm, I wonder what the selling out of the Alpha Edition will do to the overall prices? We'll see.

Yes, was a whole new level of enthusiasm for a project. The vibration, spirit was there, unique event in time and on Steemit! Nice that you joined last minute and experienced it! 😁👍 with all the crazy Steem Monsters mofos!
I think prices could change slowly over time more visible when beta cards are in circulation at one point.
Yeah, I was over in @o07's Discord at the time, talking about the new Contest Kings SteemMonsters guild that he's starting up, when I saw a whole heap of activity over in the SM Discord. What a rush!
There is so much going on with this project that i'm simply overwhelmed! Great, @o07 is highly engaged in community work, i supported one of his contests too with some boosters.
