@trisquelwhare I tried to do too much too fast thinking I'd get a better turn out on the free pack giveaway and was not able to complete this giveaway. It's a rookie mistake but I've now realized I need to take a step back and start of small. If I'm able to do ok with these new giveaways for commons then I'll start to slowly scale up. It does cost money to do these giveaways and the pack ended up being too difficult but these 4-5 cent commons are much easier to manage and giveaway for free. Hope you understand. Thanks for dropping in again on this and for the support. I have some more common giveaways coming up too over the next week and plan to do them every day or every other day.
Thanks for explaining that, @monstermadness. Sorry to be so persistent about this, but I have seen something similar happen in the past, with the competition being pulled at the last minute and the person running it just pocketing the rewards of all those upvotes they got, with nothing ever being given back to the community that supported them. I'm glad that isn't the case here. Let me know if there is any way that I can help. Thanks for that @jonnyla08, and thanks for the nice 100% upvote. 👍 I just do what I can to help around here because I have been inspired to action by those who have been so generous to me with gifts of booster packs and individual cards. I have three Gold Foils in my collection so far, and all of them have been gifted to me by different people. This is such a cool community!
We did have an oversight with that first giveaway but @monstermadness has a good strategy now and should be in a better position to do his common giveaways more regularly now. 😄 You don't have to donate to his cause because I'm helping him out but if you wanted to step in and pay it forward as you said we'd both certainly be grateful for any help you provided. @trisquelwhare
I'd love to help out wherever I can. I'm afraid I'm not very flush, so that is why I'm giving away just my Common cards in my #payitforward activities, mostly focusing on new Steemians. I'd love to give away whole booster packs or Gold Foils like many others here do, but I just can't afford to. I'm only just out of the Steem Inc. delegation period, and am still receiving delegations from a coupe of other people, so I can't even realistically offer delegation to help this project along, sorry. But do let me know if there is any way that I can help.
@trisquelwhare I completely understand. It is extremely hard to do well on here sometimes and to be consistent so I feel your pain. I personally can't even do anything more that give out rares right now now, @monstermadness is doing commons like what you said. Beyond that it can be challenging. If you just keep participating you're already helping us out through Upvotes, comments, Resteems etc. because it all helps us keep moving along. I appreciate your continued involvement!
