My experience playing Steem-monsters
Thanks to @rentmoney I've been playing Steem-monsters almost everyday for the last week. The best part — it cost me nothing.
I'm a big fan of collectable card games, so you can imagine my excitement. But, to be honest, Steem-monsters disappointed me a little bit.
The game has few unique features and a tournament mode, which is really great. But that's basically it.
As for the cards design, it's poor and unintuitive. Just one example from "how to play" section: "monsters with this ability have a chance to...". Which chance? 90%? 50%? 1%? It's important to know, considering the fact that the game has a very limited gameplay (you only can build a deck).
Unfortunately for now playing Steem-monsters doesn't require high skill level, and the role of RNG is only less important than the role of money invested by player.
However playing the game could bring some enjoyment (especially, when you are still learning it). And, of course, Steem-monsters is overall very good thing for Steem.

The devs are claiming its less than 10% complete. We're in a weird spot.
As a gamer, you want to play a polished, complete game; but as an investor, you want to get in as early as possible.
Keep at it and see where we are a year from now :)
