In this series I'm taking a look at the new Beta Rewards Cards that you can add to your Steem Monsters collection, just for playing Steem Monsters.

Flame Imp

I like this card a lot but it's a pity it's not a neutral or in the Water Splinter. But the firs splinter definitely needed a little more magic attack monsters.

Summoning Cost = 3

As we've seen, flying can be a tricky card to hit and although this one costs 1 more mana than a Cocatrice the 'Swiftness' ability should be a match winner. IMHO.

+1 Melee (Malric) +1 Speed (Flame Imp lvl5) = GG

There is something in this card for everyone.

Team Placement: 1 spot from back

Price = $0.15 (too low for a decent RARE)

Recommendation: BUY

Alt Card: Cocatrice

    Thanks. I haven't taken a closer look at him, but a few more days and I'll have enough from rewards to bring one up to level 3 or 4 and find room for him in the rotation.

    I think this one will be a keeper for sure. I'll sure you'll want to squeeze him in when he's at level 5 :-)
