Or does it? You know I love gaming, I profess it openly on my shows and in various places across the chain. One thing I love is surprises! Every game should have some mystique or elusive achievement or hard-to-obtain prizes. It makes the game fun by giving you something to look forward to and work towards. What's it called? The feeling of being accomplished?

Since @drugwars and @steemmonsters are the two biggest and 'most successful' games thus far on the chain and I play the fire out of them both, this is the focus of this blog entry. Are they giving anything worth your time beyond a fun factor? Because let's face it, why play a game if it's not fun? So here's what I see:

I recently won my first automated tournament and haven't been happier! It ran smoothly, promptly, and I will play more. Everything @aggroed said he was going to do, he gave ample time to complete and did it. I have to give them major props and am curious and excited to see how far this goes. Especially since I love the artwork and game play. I heard rumors of an RPG version? That would kick so much ass! If there was a 10 point rating and I worked for Gamer Pro Magazine, I'd give them an 8.5 overall.

Holy SHIT? Did that just happen? Surprise! Not a good one either. You'll notice I put FUTURE tokens and left them STEEM rewards up there. That's what I loved about the game. Earning the STEEM! Now, they are taking that away. I just can't even. I'm not the only one pissed about this either. With only a 48 hour notice? I just noticed after the announcement was already 18 hours old. I don't know if this was a cloaked ICO by accepting people's STEEM and the way they advertised it, but at least lube people's asses up first. Score - went from 9.0 to 2.5. I'll still play, but only because I'm a gamer. There has been no announcement or clue as to how these DRUGS er, FUTURE tokens will hold any value outside of the game. Bad move guys. You should have hired me as a consultant.

I was hoping to be more involved with Steem Monsters, but love how it's turning out. Drug Wars just took a piss on its players. Piss stinks and gets sticky. But, we have some things happening over here on STEEM and that's the part I love. So, no matter what you do during your STEEM experience, REMEMBER TO BE YOU! I always am, even if I'm just slaying the competition, ha!
