- We at @dlux-sm would like to offer 8000 Dlux Coins to any 3D artist who submits a 3D Vectored Steem Monster that we select for our project! There are 90 possible Monsters you could create in 3D! I know there are talented Blender and Sketchup Artists on the Steem-Chain! Now is your chance to earn 8k Dlux coins before they valuate!
READ THIS CAREFULLY
- Read the following carefully or you will waste a phenomenal amount of time. Look at the three Steem Monster Cards at the beginning of this post. THOSE ARE THE THREE CARDS I'VE ALREADY CREATED. So that means pick ANY of the OTHER cards than those three {3} to create.
COPYRIGHT NOTE
- We have specific permission from @yabapmatt to use designs/monster names etc. PLEASE do not create a 3D Steem Monster and sell the design, advertise with it, make a monster game with it etc. You will be breaking the law without permission. Steem
monster is a copyrighted project. We have permission and do not own the copyright. We are not Steem Monster devs. This is not to scare anyone but to protect @steemmonsters and YOU from making a silly mistake because of unawareness. Thank you for reading this.
HOW TO ENTER
- Make a 3D Vector and save it in one of the following formats:
No rigging or "bones" necessary on the models.

Are the Monsters in your 3 Cards 3D Meshes with Cell shading?
How much Polys are allowed and is there anything else we should know about the Mesh or size?
Does it need to be rigged or just in a fancy pose?
Ideal export is a glTF model as small as possible (max 3MB) with 2K texture (if used, 4K allowed)

Thank you for reminding me. I was going to say no rigging necessary. I will add that into the post now. Not sure what you mean by how many Polys. Meshing and size isnt a huge issue right now. Just concentrate on good proportions. The style i really prefer is something with lots of flat edges and lines. You know when the mesh forms lines like you drew something?
Yes, thats cell shading.
So the Mesh can be posed like on the Cards and not in a t-pose if i got that right? :)
Polygons tell how detailed the surface is. If you use it to create a 3D Game you should take care to not use too much Polys / Verticies (Edges, Dots and so on).
this is dlux-sm still. :) Yes to your mesh question. use as many polys as you want as long as its not excessive. look at the other two mosters ive made on @dlux-sm. they are pretty

Mann... I would realy like to do this....just to carve out some time .... is there dead lines?
The only deadline is there are 90 monsters. So that is a pretty long deadline. :) And they might make more monsters before "we" finish.
Does that mean we get 800k for each Monster that has not been created yet or will you pick one mesh from all contest entries? :)

So the latter of what you said and it's 8k dlux coins per model not 800k. But there is no entry limit so if you are the best artist by far you could make all 90 theoretically. I have enough right now to reward for 10/12 models but I plan bid for more as often as possible.
You can always post entrees here.... That way people can choose to pick a different monster to attempt if yours better than what they could do. Ill multi up-vote any entrees posted here.
