Steemmonsters is a really exciting project! And it's super cool that their Kickstarter is already "overfunded" with more than two weeks still to go... I think that bodes really well!

I look at this and consider the HUGE popularity of "Magic: The Gathering." I happen to be friends with one of the original 20 artists... he now gets upwards of $2000 for just a signed sketch of one of the cards he created. But that's not so much the point... as the fact there are over 25 million MTG players and more than 40 billion cards have been created.

Now we're in the digital game era... imagine what this could do for Steem, even at a tiny fraction of that popularity!

And then, of course, there's the somewhat overlooked fact that this is (effectively) the only path currently to go from fiat currency to Steem directly... when you buy SM cards with your debit card! I don't know why more people aren't noticing that...

Exciting times!
