Just look: I won 8 battles as well! Only these two losses are the last battles and decisive:

Let's take a closer look at these defeats:
- Melee Mayhem : Melee attack Monsters can attack from any position - 27 Mana limit; all Splinters aviable:
I also have the Serpent of the Flame and I even wrote a post about it. But nah! Why I decided to choose the experimental tactic (I saw this one in the one of the previous tournament) - I don't know. This tactic maybe is good for some Only Melee battles - where your rival do not choose to attack you by the Sneak.
- Taking Sides : Neutral Monsters may not used in this battles - 16 Mana limit; all Splinters, exept Water:
Here I choose Dragon Splinter in combination of Death:
I was hoping for the great front attack - so I choose the Haunted Spirit Card, Manticore and for the left 3 Points need something else - and so I choose Haunted Spider. It was a risk and a big mistake!
The choice of the enemy and the subsequent battle showed that for 3 mana it was better to choose Skeletal Warrior - so it could to cover the rear for 2 turns. And who know - maybe it worked well.
