Steem Monsters Card Review: Feral Spirit

Every splinter is armed with some kind of sneak attacker, and the Feral Spirit is the Life splinter's attempt at unconventional warfare. Yet unlike many of the other sneak attackers of the other splinters, the Feral Spirit is arguably one of the most effective given its combination of high speed, high health, and high attack.

While one could argue that the Skeletal Assassin is more effective with its poison capability, the Feral Spirit maintains one of the highest speeds out there (7 speed at level 9), and high attacking power (4 melee at max). Now there is a bit of a trade off here, given that the Speed falls down a notch when one upgrades from level 9 to max level. Arguably, one might have more use for either 1 more speed or 1 more attack. But for the sake of keeping things at max level, the Feral Spirit is terribly effective with 4 melee damage and a high-end 6 speed. Given the prevalence of ways to limit the melee attack power, its often ideal to seek a higher attack power.
