RE: Steem Monster Bots

in #steemmonsters6 years ago

I don't think I've seen bots in Steem Mosnters. The way bots work on the blockchain are more like upvote bots, bidbots, for upvotes and such. I suppose one could program an elaborate bot to play Steem Monsters, but then that bit would also have to know the mana cap of the day, the special rules of the day, choose a summoner and choose the appropriate amount of monsters and place them in the appropriate order in order to make winning possible. There are too many variables for bots to get by in SM. Do date there have only been players. The only "bots" if you will, are the resellers who send you your SBD or Steem when you sell a monster on the market andsomeone purchases it. Bots playing SM is a bit far-fetched.

I'm a person who doesn't like bidbots and such, but I'm not worried about bots taking over Steem Monsters. It's made in a way that keeps them out.

Sort:

it is for sure bots playing the card game to stay in bronze league. You can see it on high mana matches. Only plays 3 cards and you knock the socks off them if they have low level cards. Bots is in this game like in every game where profit is possible with simple repeatable steps. Farming bots is the name for it. You can combine your cards for higher level. After a while with leveling up the cards by combining I bet a bot is in top 100 if not top 200. That mean early adopters playing with bots wil be milionears(if they sell the right cards at the right time) no doubt.

Interesting!

That might explain why when my step kids play, sometimes they end up playing against people who have the same deck every single time. They win because someone had the same deck over and over again, and then 4 people with different names had the same deck with the exact same cards in the exact same order, battle after battle.
