Congrats to EVERYONE who joined us for AIRDROP Tournament #3!

We now have 55 accounts holding BATTLE tokens, that's a great start..

But.. we want to see even more people have the chance to participate so keep an eye out for one final AIRDROP Tournament!

vcdragon [#34]wins this tourney with a record of 7-1, only loosing one game along the way to glory!

Starting off the tournament having to participate in the qualifying round, and knocking off @monstervaritas in convincing fashion using a sneak Life deck with a little Inspire from our friend the Enchanted Pixie.

Round 2 sees vcdragon match up against @mulletwang (fantastic account name by the way!) in another do or die single elimination battle. This time utilizing a ranged Earth deck tanked by a Lord Arianthus and boosted by summoner Prince Rennyn, vcdragon is able to beat down their opponents tank which just cant be healed fast enough. Once the tank is put away the remaining deck get's chewed up by a relentless ranged attack.

Round 3 and we are down to the final 8 in our last set of single elimination match-ups! vcdragon takes on @monsterdraw and sticks with a their Earth deck this time summoned by Selenia. vcdragon's tank utilizes void to negate a substantial amount of damage coming from monsterdraws magic based Water deck, while the offtank heals the secondary blast damage sent their way, great setup! vc's potent offense proves too much for this water deck and down it goes.

Semi-finals and we have vcdragon up against a tough opponent in @jakio1 [#52]. Again with a Selenia and an Earth deck vc pulls off an almost flawless victory in game 1. In game 2 we see vc continue to go back to their Earth deck this time summoned by Prince Rennyn. In what's a much closer game vc's Magi of the Forest throws considerable magic damage under the shields of Jaki01's Life deck flattening the remaining monsters.

The Finals are here and we have a heavyweight showdown in @vcdragon vs @masterthematrix [#27]. In a best of 3 you always want to win the first game and vc does just that. vc's Earth deck summoned by Salenia and tanked by Lord Arianthus proves too much for masterthematrix's Death deck. The Lord of Darkness and crew just aren't able to get past a stubborn Lord Arianthus and quickly fall. Game 2 we see masterthematrix come back with a Selenia death deck and some extra firepower from a Gold Dragon in this Fire vs Fire match-up. The blast damage from the Goldie and an Elemental Phoenix are able to overpower vc's melee based sneak deck and we are even Steven. In a tense rubber match for the tie break vc goes back to a Selenia summoned Earth deck to take on masterthematrix's Life deck. The Magi of the Forest does it's job putting magic damage under Life's shields slowly knocking them down. After a well timed stun from a Stone Golem vc is able to land the finishing blows and seal the deal! Congrats on a great tournament @vcdragon!
