#STEEMLORDS Tales: Battlewom takes a trip

The hissing and scraping of the ROUSs got louder and louder. So did the stink. BattleWom gagged. I wish ChooXena and Gohba and Lord BMJ were here..

"Oh well, there's only one thing for it," he said after he checked his nails.

He bolted. Off the ledge and fair into the middle of the horde of ROUSes.

He had a simple strategy: charge. He began running in a small, but ever expanding circle, creating a vortex of smelly giant rodents flying bodily towards the walls, where they landed on their fellows and scrambled to leave the confines of the cavern.

"OI DICKHEAD AINT GOT TIME FOR THIS SHIT MATE,"

BattleWom stopped and looked around. In the tunnel entrance stood the loyal blacksmith. Gohba? Really? Now?

"IT'S ALMOST SUNDAY NIGHT, PLACES TO BE THINGS TO DO, LET'S GO AYE!"

"Ohhh," BattleWom said, the pitch of the utterance rising as he spoke. "Do we have to?"

But Gohba didn't hear him. The blacksmith fumbled with his backpack and then removed a huge cheese, which he flung on top of the scrambling ROUSes. They jumped on it like a swarm of huge stinking rats chase a feast of cheese.

They left the cavern and started towards Lake Town, when they spied the pair of zombies BattleWom had spied earlier. They had obviously disentangled their various bits of anatomy from the trees with which they had earlier been tangling.

Great! BattleWom prepared to charge, when Gohba quickly pointed back into the tunnel.

"Brains, heaps of em. In there!" and off the zombies reeled, bumping into trees and bouncing off rock walls like they'd had five too many strawberry daiquiris.

"Ohhh man.." BattleWom grumbled.

But soon enough, the pair joined the rest of the SteemLords and they made their way into the Lake Town.

And on to claim Excalibur, BattleWom thought to himself. And then I can go home!

And suddenly a vortex opened up before them and they were standing in the ruins of Camelot, with Sir Knight and the other Steem Lords.

And with great strength - SirKnight, through the 'eye of merlin', summons all the forces of the Galaxy to resurrect @bearone Baroness Bearone The Dazzling.

And standing to the rear of the Questors - the Ice Dragon, Shaduppaurface. The beloved Dragon which had sacrificed itself to for the lives of many others.

And Sir Knight was talking and the room was spinning and BattleWom was spinning and the world was spinning and BattleWom was thinking I wonder if there are any strawberry fields nearby.

And BattleWom sniffed the strawberries and felt the sunlight on his face and watched the clouds in the sky and he heard Sir Knight's voice...

"...Eternia, along with many other Cartoon Kingdoms are under siege. Without your help now - we are all doomed!"

He felt like swimming. Is there a lake here?

"..We beg of you Steem Lords - come with us now!"

And he thought I wonder if there's time for a quick paddle before we go?
