Today WazirX has listed steem on its exchange - first Indian exchange to do this. The announcement was brought by @jatinhota - one of the hardworking steem witnesses, however, as of now he is no more running witness node. Being as @Indiaunited we were trying our best to get steem on one of the INR exchanges so we Indians can also seamlessly buy or sell steem. This is going to be a major boost to the people using Steemit or holding steem. This will also help to board more steemit users from India. Condition of cryptocurrency in India is not at all good, recently, one of the major exchanges shutdowns its operations after which we were left with only a few exchanges like WazirX, Localbitcoin.

This is good news for all the crypto holders especially traders who are holding steem coins. Anyway, Steem dollar is yet to get listed and we will work hard by promoting steem as much as we can. This will also give a boost to steem prices. Until now we have to follow a long chain of conversions before getting fiats.
