November, not my best month as an Author but...

...improving as a curator at the STEEM Blockchain.

Surely the conditions of the crypto market and, more in particular, a very low STEEM price is not a motivator for many at this blockchain.
Not my case, I am keeping posting, upvoting , commenting and engaging as usual, despite I recognize that perhaps I am not creating the best posts nowadays.

However, since HF21/22, my author rewards have kept plunging month after month while curation increased more than double in my case and it keeps somehow stagnant since then.

Today I have checked what I did in terms of Author and Curation rewards on November.

As expected, curation has been good, improving the precedent month and almost reaching an ATH, 62.41 SP, I used to get around 32 SP on the months before of the HF21 deployment.

Although, Author Rewards fell down dramatically, 160 SP while before the HF it was easy to me to reach values around 250 SP:

All in all, if I sum up both charts I get the following bad-performing chart:

223 SP in total...

around 17 SP less than on October, around 60 SP less than before HF... and, of course, always without using bid-bots...
and really posting very similarly, before and after HF.

Lessons Learnt?

Well, actually not. I really figured out before the HF what is happening now, of course...

I expected already that the only beneficiaries of this HF were going to be some big-stakers and a few content creators..

And I knew already that it would impact my constant natural growth uptrend, obtained after spending so much time here engaging with all the community...

I knew that the HF would impact for good in some sense, because it would allow us to defend us from the blockchain abusers...

But I could not even imagine the disastrous impact on engagement as a result.

The fact is that I will continue posting, engaging, commenting and upvoting whatever I like despite anything someone would create to counterbalance the economy of this blockchain again and, in particular, improving the economy of a few in front of the majority here.
But I only hope that someone at the devs sphere would add anything on this code to improve engagement and social interaction to improve the current situation...

Rules have changed before and will change again. It's just that two basic flaws of the system never change:

  • wealth distribution is skewed and totally out of balance
  • regular / common / new authors and their posts are still invisible.

You are doing great considering circumstances. Like with running. Some parallels there? :)

What's the story with #cc?

CC is a token that rewards people who comment in your post... you should have some already.
It's trying to incentivize communication and engagement

Let me check...

Yes, I have four of them, Merci for the explanation.

I find pretty much the same. But I'm still here as well, doing more curating than creation as well.
