Only a parent will know what love is when at 2:30 in the morning your screaming child wants to go down stairs and play/eat/drink milk/go for a walk....
Or waking up in a warm puddle at 3am. Stripping the bed and showering; then trying to get back to sleep with wet hair.
Gotta do it though. If you don't have kids, you're breaking your longest standing family tradition.
It's been a while since I woke up in a puddle! I think I must have blocked that memory out.

Also, you have to be up for work in 2 hours and now he wants a drink of water; like that wasn't the problem in the first place.
