THE MONKEY AND THE BANANA

One day, a monkey was put in a cage and banana was placed at the top of the cage. As we are aware that babana is the favourite food of a money, i tried raising his hand and pull the banana but, the people that put the banana there flushed the monkey with water. This monkey tried several times but it is been flushed as usual.

In about an hour later, another monkey is taken to the cage together with the one there. He also tried picking the banana but received a dirty slap from the other one. The monkey again tried to pull the banana but was slapped even harder this time.

In about an hour, the first monkey was taken out and replaced with another monkey. While the was trying to pull the banana, the other one also slapped him and the cycle continues until the 4th monkey, 5th monkey, ... until it becomes a tradition.

One day, it got to a turn of a monkey. The monkey tried pulling the banana but the previous one gave him a dirty slap. The monkey tried picking the banana several times but recieved heavy slap instead. The monkey then asked why he is been slapped for doing nothing wrong but, the other monkey was unable to provide an answer and was speechless. This monkey wondered why the other is speechless, he then struggled to get the banana despite been slapped and hurt.

We will continue to live in darkness of our thoughts until we know the cause of other people's action. We make something abnormal our tradition and fail to ask the reason behind such tradition.
