WHAT I CAN DO TO PROMOTE STEEM

I will start by giving out the meaning of steem.
Steem means a gleam of light or flame according to dictionary. The plural form is steems and the present participle is steeming while the past and the past participle is steemed.

Steem is a crytocurrency which is used to fuel the Steemit platform. It is a platform where people are allowed to upvote others for monetary rewards.

Steemit has numerous advantages. Among all are; it helps someone to develop his or her writing. Through Steemit, many people have developed their system of writing just because you need to write to entice your readers or general steemit users. You write and wait for readers to comment and upvote.

It can be used as, though, source of income. The income is not instant but you need to wait for a very long period of the. You can also make money through it by buying steem or steem dollar since dollar price always very in most countries. Dollar can rise and also fall, once it rises , you can be able to sell the bought steem or steem dollar to make profit.

Rewarding one's effort through your writing is not in vein unlike other social networks. Once you write, you get noticed and rewarded.

It is a platform where people get to know each other. One gets recognized when your reputation is high. The good thing is that you need to write a good and quality write up and post for others to view and upvote then you get rewarded. But you need to get people to know you.

Ways I can promote are as follows;

• CREATING AWARENESS ON THE MEDIA. Steemit can be promoted through other social media or platforms. This may be done by creating a group on any one of the social media. This medium, people will invite friends. This will be based on steemit discussion.

• BEFRIEND THE MEDIA: Let the media be your friend that is through which Steemit will be publicised e.g. newspapers, radio stations and other means. Also linking Steemit with social media such as Facebook, Twitter and other effective social means is very much important.

• TALK SHOW: Organize a show to promote Steemit and to make it effective. Many today just write without being rewarded but through talk show, people can get the awareness of people. Likes and dislikes of Steemit must be mentioned when having the show.

• GIVING PEOPLE ORIENTATION ON THE EXISTENCE OF steemit. : People need to know more about Steemit and this will be done through orientation. People need to get to know the existence of Steemit not just by mere hearing of the name. I was introduced through talk show by @olanrewaju and many other as well gotbtobknow Steemit through talk show.

• PHOTOCOPY IS NOT ALLOWED: In Steemit, originality is the way forward. Steemit can only accept original work that's your real handiwork. People need to know that whatever you write must be your real original write up.

To my little understanding, the above are ways I can promote Steemit.
