How Many People's Data Did Facebook Use in Turkey?
It was said that 234,000 people were affected on the scandal of using Facebook users information illegally by Cambridge Analytica company.
According to a statement made by the Facebook, Cambridge Analytica application was downloaded by 233 people in Turkey; however, it came out that a total of 234,000 friends of those 233 people had been found to be affected by this situation.
There are about 44 million monthly Facebook users in Turkey. In the case of Cambridge Analytica, around 87 million people were affected worldwide. Turkey is not in the top 10 in terms of the number of members whose data was used.
Facebook has increased the security rating with new updates after the event in question.
