📷 Moscow Parks ▶ set # 4 ▶ Ostankino (Останкино)
Hi everybody, all Steemians, friends, followers and the whole community! 👋 👋 👋
This is my next leg of the journey through Moscow parks. It is my pleasure today to show you Ostankino Park. I really hope you will enjoy it! 😊 😊
As per wikipedia there are about 25 big parks in Moscow, and many many smaller. Generally is a green city, and you can have a great time, enjoy and relax in different parks, as they are located all over the city, in the very downtown, in the central part and of course the bigger ones by size in the outskirts.
Ostankino Park (Парк Останкино)
Some first hand info:
Ostankino Park is located just few steps off Moscow downtown.
It borders the Botanical Garden Park set ▶3 and VDNH Park. Altogether is like three parks combined into a huge one. From any corner of the park you can see Ostankino Tower ( see the first pic above ), built in 1967, and since ever is recognized as the tallest structure in Europe and nowadays 11th tallest in the World.
It is a beautiful place, with huge territory, that is why it always looks like extremely quiet and not that much crowded.Everywhere is very clean and well maintained, a lot of greenery and clean air. It makes you feel like you are not even in a city let alone the downtown is just few minutes drive from here.
There are many paved paths and bicycles lines, bicycle parking.
Everybody can have a long walk around, take a sit on a bench, and get to the end of the park ( or vice versa the start ) with the amazing view of the pond where you can rent a boat and have a romantic end of your trip.

Yeap @jorgebgt, it is one of the least crowded in Moscow, I hope it will keep up the same many years to come.
