Nice Morning For A Surf
I’m here at Lorne, Victoria.
If you’ve never visited this quaint seaside town, then next time you find yourself in Australia make the effort to come spend a night here.
Maybe go for a surf (conditions willing) on the beach, or go for a walk through the Bush in the hinterland and visit the waterfalls.
You can’t see it too well in this photo, but the park on the foreshore is covered in Sulphur-crested Cockatoos, which will annoy you if you’re trying to have a picnic — thanks to the many tourists who continue to feed them when they shouldn’t. But it’s nice to see them being their typical ratbaggy selves, making their characteristic screech noise.
I’m feeling very grateful for the opportunity to spend time here as part of my work.
Who needs an office job anyway...????

I'd love to be there right now. Too windy for this arvo. I went down on Sunday and the surf was tiny, but we went out anyway off the point for a few, and just frolicked in the water. It was hella busy but we still found a spot. it's such a heavenly place.
Did you go surfing this morning at all? (Wednesday).... I saw someone down at Urquharts Bluff that kinda looked like you, but I wasn’t sure if you’d come that far for a morning session.....
