RE: Steemitworldmap, no Hokkaido? Let's start tagging 北海道 !!

in #steemitworldmap7 years ago (edited)

Hokkaido is a part of Japan I would love to visit someday, where most of the onsen are located I did read a while back about a hotel called Akari no Yu Dormy Inn Premium Otaru that seems to include the best breakfast in Hokkaido (seafood buffet with ikura, amaebi, kan), a convenient location near the train station and Daiso. Free ramen at night after relaxing in hotspring and it is a nearby drive to the famous Otaru canal, orgel museum, and shakaimachi shopping street.
Definitely an area worth exploring.

Haha we stayed at this Otaru dormy inn during our first trip to Hokkaido. In fact, the first inn chain is always our first choice of hotels, because of their onsen. But recently their prices had increase alot and it’s harder to book them.

That is great to know I thought that might be the case as it sounded like a fantastic deal for the prices when I looked it up and in 2014 it was a total of 14,400 yen (roughly $143.50) total for two people, so it makes sense they would be in hot demand.
