Steemit Ultimate Challenge 8 Weeks
HOW STEEMIT CHANGED MY LIFE
First of all, I would like to thank @dobartim for organizing this contest

My success story isn't complete without including steemit. This post isn't about how steemit has affected me, but how it has affected RHEMA group in a whole.
My Success Story
First of all, what, who is Rhema?
Rhema is a musical group organized by IBC. Three months ago, I initiated the idea of bringing together a group of talented musicians to uplift them and keep their working status busy. It was a bit stressful at first, but we've been able to make it so far through the Impact of Steemit.
Life Communications
When I told my friends about the Rhema Initiative, they all thought it was a bad idea. Most of them gave me instances how my plan will crash. I decided that instead of scouting around for musicians with talent and no sponsorship, I could start the group with my friends.
Your friends are the hardest people to convince
We started with only a box guitar, one which I got as a gift from a late friend. We weren't all good with musical instruments, Benjamin, our bassists was so full of himself cause he felt like he was the only talented one in the team.
Christopher, was the "carry along" guy in the team. He always did have a nag for pulling us back, he wasn't that talented musicwise but he had a thick voice and that was a necessity we all desired because almost everyone on the team was eithier a tenor or an alto singer. Freddy was the average overhead lead singer. He wasn't that bad but he had this "IDGAF" attitude so he wasn't really taking us in the right part. I wasn't really a "Stand up" person so at that time, Freddy was the best we had. Philip was the "no show" guy. In all the concerts we did perform, he never showed up, there was always an excuse to keep him back. So all the work and blame was thrown back on me. From the names I mentioned, you can as well guess this was a complete boy band, a "discombobulated" boy band. After so many struggles with coping with team and keeping them together, problems with Tour expenses and feeding expenses were tripped in and I got discouraged and gave up on Rhema Initiative. It wasn't until October 16, last year, in a coffee shop opposite my favorite restaurant that I had an encounter with @ishotz. I told ishotz how my goals has been eating by factors affecting me finicial wise and self esteem. Ishotz took time to hear my story while sipping on his black coffee with extra caffeine. I don't know why he loved caffeine so much that it had become an addiction but nevertheless, the main point was that he had come to lend a helping hand.
Ishotz then introduced me to steemit and thus everything started changing for good.
Finacial Communication
Before I started Rhema Initiative, I never really did consider taking any Money making venture important all cause of the fact that I was a student still struggling with my grades. My grades were not as I would loved them to be, so I was more like the average student, a student who just wants to get out of a school with a certificate to proove he's a graduate. In my opinion, you can't all throw the blame at me. In this part of the world, the Government's yes was the people's yes. The system was corrupt and nothing else mattered. Clean minds would be bent against thier own will because good grades became the criteria to be considered as a primary school teacher only. Other befitting jobs were all for those with good connection and power and I had none. So you can say that I was pretty much finicially unstable even with the little help from my parents. My parents were struggling to make a living, My dad lost his civil job at an early age so my mum was the only dependable person finicial-wise. This made me less dependable on my parents considering their finicial status with the arising needs of my two younger brothers and a sister.
Bussiness Communication
I've not been the active type bussiness wise but I had a little thing keeping me busy. I had only my PC and that's what I used in school to help other students with printed assignments and online registration involving payments of school fees, etc. My bussiness wasn't really moving because I had so many competitors to contend with. My bussiness also had issues especially with scanned documents. I didn't have a scanner so that was also a major issue in my little bussiness. So everytime I had an issue with scanning, I would run to another shop to scan the document.
Education Communication
I was quite the sucker when it came to combining school work with my little job and my steemit life. At first, when I started steemit, I barely had time for other things but because of the hope i had for steemit, I decided to drop all other little things I called jobs and faced just steemit and my academics. I wasn't paying attention to the Rhema initiative at that time but I still had it in mind. Recently, I've been able to create time for my academics more frequently because even though my certificate may seem worthless, I'll still be satisfied with it. Thanks to steemit, I can now purchase text books and handouts properly unlike before.
Hardworks beats Talent when Talent does not work hard enough
Communication Participation
Recently I joined a steemit community, the SUC @STACH to help promote my steemit experience. The stach initiative has improved my steemit life to a whole new level and I'm really glad about it because right now, My self esteem problem has been fixed. I was shocked when I addressed a "crowd of ten" steemians about the importance of Steem Power and how to maximize their earnings. Believe me when I say 10 is a big crowd to me, but I addressed them with so much boldness and I felt good. Steemit had fixed something in me and that was breathtaking.
I'm glad for the Steemit uyo community and their succes through other programs like "FETCH" and their work in caring and providing for orphans through steemit. Through the Stach initiative, I got meet more creative steemians like @ifioklee, @ishotz, @alisonudeme, @yhaulez, @egetex, @rachealrick and so many others.
I also got to connect with @ungest, @ejemai, @samstickkz, @mimee who helped fuel my steemit experience.
So the community aspect of my steemit life has been a blessing.
Recently, all member of the Rhema group have started participating in steemit and our lives have changed for the best. Steemit has made it easy for us to give out and right now we have more than ten musicians in Rhema and we have sponsored a lot of talented musicians to greater heights. Thanks to the amazing turnarounds steemit has given us. We've organized tutorial classes for even those who want to learn music and we are growing into a mini musical school already. I ❤steemit.

Thanks for your time going through "My Tell-all" steemit experience. Rhema today are proudly steemians.
I understand academic loads, it is enough. Adding hustling to it is a big job.
