I write this article about the things that had happened (changes in my life) since I have joined steemit. Without boring you with stories, let me go straight to the point.

I am so glad I joined steemit some months back when a brother introduced me to the platform some months ago. At first I rejected thinking it was one of those ponzi-schemes like mmm that I did last year and I lost a lot of money. I refused to do it. But later I changed my mind having it at the back of my mind that I have nothing to loose if I register since I am not putting money into it.

After I agreed to join the platform, I was put through the necessary steps concerning registration using my email and phone number. I even got pissed off during the process of registration cos I had to wait for some days before my account got approved. After successful registratiom, I wrote my introductory post and earned $3. I was so happy not just because of the money, but because of the love that was shown me, how people commented on my introductory post and made me feel welcome. It was as if we have met before. Truly steemit is a home for everyone.

When I hear people talk and write articles about how steemit has made them better referring to the money they got from steemit, I laugh and feel proud because I know Steemit has made me better than this.

My own testimony comprise both the monetary, the emotional, moral and the spiritual aspect. I have experienced a lot of achievements ever since I have become a steemian to the extent that I am now addicted to steemit

EDUCATION

Let me take the aspects of improvement one by one starting with the communication aspect:
There is a saying that

education is a gradual process and you keep learning til you die.

This will make me talk about the improvement in the aspect of communication skills I have been able to brush up since I joined steemit: Though we chat using informal languages but at the same time, we use normal English which is understood by everyone to write articles, and this to some extent has been able to help me improve on my communication skills.

Because of steemit, I can now face a crowd and address them, I can stand in front of crowds and do steemit presentation; enlightening them about steemit. This is not just the only improvement I have witnesses in my life others include

SPIRITUAL

some might be thinking of the impossibility of spiritual improvement via steemit, but I tell you this is a reality. There is a saying that you cannot give what you don't have and the Bible affirms this in the scriptures according to Gospel of St Matthew 7:4

how can you say to your brother: "come let me remove the speck from your own eye", as long as you have that plank in your own eye. First take out the plank in your own eye, then you see clearly and will be able to remove the speck in your brother's eye.

So there is no way I will want to spread the Gospel to people on steemit without improving on my own life too. I knew I had to have a personal encounter with God, I knew I had to draw my strength from Him in order to prepare myself for the task ahead; the task of spreading the Good news here on steemit.

I embarked on a 3-day retreat which started December 26th and ended on the 28th of December. It was also an avenue to reflect on how the past year has been and how well I want to improve this year.

With this I am getting closer to my Bible and my God loving Him above all else. With this too, I have been able to learn more about what the end time will be like.

MORAL

A lot of lessons learnt on steemit about moral behaviours, how to live life well. How to accept people the way they are, how to make the world better.

The more articles I read, the more I learn about the norms of life, the lifestyle, culture and tradition of people that needs to be adopted and those that needs to be scrapped away.

HUMILITY

I have learnt that humility is something to be observed by Al from @surpassinggoogle who refers himself to be untalented despite his high level of education and influence on steemit, he brings himself so low to the level of we minnows.

I have learnt that giving is an act that must be carried out by all from @dobartim who from time to time organises contests on steemit so as to help fellow steemians earn money without stress and also from @ewuoso who gives free recharge cards

I have learnt that people light need just your attention and time rather than money from @olanrewaju who took the pain to tutor me and made me a better blogger

EMOTIONAL

Talking about emotions, it's not all about being in love, it entails something more than that, it encompasses the way we relate with others. I have learnt to improve my relationship with others having learnt from great steemians, talk of
@dobartim (the yoga man who gives out free SBDs despite the fact that what he earns from the posts are no improvement what he gives out. He is just a good philanthropist who has been helping to improve steemit )

MORE IMPROVEMENT

I can't say I have reached where I need to be, I can say I know it all, I can't say I don't need to learn anymore. Education is an ongoing reaction which requires continuous improvement and adjustment

Everyday here on steemit, I get to learn new things from great writers whose works have inspired me, those who write on scientific innovations, technological advancements, historical events and so on.

####### MONEYTARY ASPECT
I do not dispute the fact that I joined steemit because I was told I will make money online writing articles, commenting and curating.

But now I know Steemit is much more than that, though I still love making money and I want to keep making a lot so as to carry out and execute a lot of plans I have in 2018 (plans to assist the less privileged, plans to feed the nation through farming projects, plans to make known to the world hidden talents that should not be in hiding). All this I will have to achieve with great financial stand.

I won't forget to mention how I have been able to assist friends with my earnings from steemit,

Yes steemit has made me better, it has improved my life a lot, now I know how to keep my emotions in check, how to improve my spiritual life, how to help others, how to impact positively in the lives of others.

I have also been able to kick start my poultry project with preparations and what remains for me is to get the day old birds from a reliable source. Steemit has made me become a business man.

Another thing is those that I have been able to meet here on steemit. Because of the project that I am doing here in steemit which is the celebration of people's birthdays, anniversaries and also if anyone has offended someone he or she loves and is willing to let the other person know how truly he or she is sorry. I can help out writing an article about it.

And this will make me say. @dobartim, let me know your birthday please so that I can celebrate you, you truly deserve it

seriously what steemit has some for me cannot be overemphasised. I have turned into a problem solver all because I now thinks lot. the ability to be able rondo this was developed here die to the fact that I have to think a lot before coming up with an article to post.

Steemit now runs through my vein, I eat steemit, I drink steemit, I think steemit, I do steemit

All I want to keep doing now is to keep blogging, keep improving as a steemian. I know I have along way to go with my reputation sill at 47 and my upvote worth still nothing and I will like to work on this most especially so as to make newbies happy whenever I upvote their articles.
