Hey bro! It is a great social work and a great help to the society. I have also been donating blood many times. I always try to donate every three months (which is the minimum period to wait after donating the second time). It is an incredible feeling helping someone and they are feeling better with your contribution. Everyone should participate and also encourage others to participate in such activities which are beneficial to society.
