A depressing song to be sure. I wrote this song about a year after losing my wife in a car wreck in which I could not walk for 9 months afterward. On top of that I had just got diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and was always feeling sick at the time. Hard times come to us all but remember most of the time they're temporary just like the good times. It's the ebb and flow of life ;)

I can so relate to your song. You and I share the loss of our sweethearts, music and prepping. I certainly can feel the pain. I suppose it is how you allow it to shape you and how you go on that matters. Thanks for sharing your heart and kind friendship @lk666

This kind of pain doesn't really go away. It just becomes part of the environment much like that island of trash floating around the pacific has become part of the Earth's environment. We gotta live with this flawed existence.
