yah man, I hope so. I think of contests - basically all of Steemit really, as a place to workshop my ideas and my process... eventually I'd like to make full fledged demos and singles and start posting more finished, produced stuff, but for now I'm enjoying being productive , showing my work... the contests are more for me about making connections and getting exposure. And if I win something once in a while, it's a bonus! ;)
