Totem - Day 56 of the steemitschool 100 day writing challenge by @d-pend
One of my old paintings
If you dare love me be carful not to loose your head.
Do not be fooled by my appearance, giants fear me.
I am of many worlds and fly between the streams.
Some call me wise others call me vagrant vagabond.
Am rooted in the swaying fields my soul anchored in woods untamed.
Masks do not fool me. Blink and only wind in the trees remains.

powerful words. untamed men should learn to fear the might of the woman
Oh wow, I LOVE the painting, is it in watercolour?
Very nice and potent piece. I like the vibe of power here, that of the Devine Feminine that is also within the speaker as a person — like a channeling of sorts.
Each of the first five lines that make this piece up is a sentence and then the last line is two (nice), it is one piece of many parts in a literal way, a set of warnings, or signs, or learnt lessons about self and the limits one has set — Boundaries.
You know I love the powerful female voice, this piece delivers on that — ‘don’t take me for granted or else!’ And the final thought captures the real consequence “only wind in the trees remains.” This rings true to me as I am one to leave when I’ve reached my limit, sometimes the outer limit past the inner, but I do leave, always.
I am feeling it, gurl. <3
:) Mixed media actually water colour, acrylic then scanned and finished digitally
Just gorgeous! <3
TY :)
This painting, Tyger!!!!!!!!! I'm looking at it and see the eyes, just them, two pairs of eyes, and they're the one. Wow! Bravo! It feels cosmic) the painting somehow absorbs you through the eyes of the woman, and the next toment you realize you're diving .
