Arbre
with the melt
water becomes plenty
heat rises
light spreads
Arbre shows his verdant fertility
when summer arrives
lays her shawl of wildflowers
ripened fruit fattens hides
Arbre provides a picnic
shares his plenty
the feast is over
the picnic cleared
time to throw a party
confetti falls in sunburned hues
Arbre shows his sense of irony
the frost has fallen
seeds gone to rest
soil hardens and turns fallow
still, Arbre is industrious
within tight buds, he scrolls a promise

Thank you, Paul. It takes a lot of editing to do these and sometimes it works and then sometimes you go to far and it becomes a mess. And you have to start over again. But it is fun:)

Yes indeed, the tree throughout the year gives us so many gifts. We must appreciate these gifts. Is that a cherry tree is blossom?

I lived in Japan for a spell and so I guess in some way a Japanese sensibility will always be a part of me. I like that:)
