Something To See (day 84)
Give them a reason and they will fear you,
Because they do want to fear you.
Don't give them something to see
and they won't see you.
Act like they won't see you,
and they will
act like they don't see you.
Give them something to see,
Something to look up to,
Something they want,
And they will want to be around you.
Some will want to take from you,
Some will want to understand you,
Others will want to be like you,
Or even to be better than you,
And some of them will want
To make you worse than them.

The structure is kind of distorted though.
I really liked this poem. It is straightforward and everyday life. I like that you didn’t try to complicate it with big words but kept it simple.
I really like the style of poetry as it shows the behavior of men in these times and throughout history. It is like a social lesson. Well done man
However I feel you could have added a little imagery to spice up a bit.

It is not necessary but practicing imagery like this adds to a piece.
