Don't Worry

When you feel like you’re on track...
Then life knocks you back.
Gives you a little slap,
Says -

"No you ain’t doing that
Sorry boy but...
That ain’t where you at...
You may think that you know what’s best
But just trust me on that"

Because what you think would be best,
Is often of little or no interest
To your soul..
And Your Soul is the one who
Is In Control…

See..
You can never be somewhere
that you’re not meant to be.
The greatest gift you were ever given -
Is a soul that’s totally free.
Imbued with the power of Free Will
To Do Whatever It Will Please.
Yes...
You’ve been heard,
Down on your knees...
Asking for help,
In a state of unease.
Feeling lost and confused...
And unable to see.
Just…
Don’t worry.

Because everything is really...
Just As It’s Supposed To Be.
It’s not always an easy ride,
But that’s part of the process see?
Because from one moment to the next,
Wherever you are,
Your soul’s exploring possibilities.
Your soul seeks it’s next remedy,
Through Experience,
In Reality.
It’s got an agenda and it’s following through.
There’s really not much that
‘You’ have to do…
Just get out your own way,
And you’ll see this is true.

Suddenly the pieces of the puzzle come together.
The jigsaw of your life that’s been perplexing you forever.
So complex it seemed impossible to figure it all out...
So you slowly just stopped trying as your mind was filled with doubt.
But inside you can’t stop wondering...
Just What Your Life’s About?

Well…
That's why you’re here…
To Figure That Out.

You see we’re all born with amnesia
Of the plan we made to come here.
As slowly each begins to remember,
Each of our purposes become clear.

We all come here to grow.
To evolve.
To learn.
To progress.
To share.
To live.
To love.
To cry.
To die.
To create.
To explore.
To be curios.
To be a friend...
A lover.
A Father...
A Mother.
An adventurer -
A Eternal Cosmonaut
Navigating Infinity...
Enriching the world with our
Individuality.
Finding our way and making mistakes...
Whilst every experience draws us closer to fate.....
You have full control -
It’s your story to dictate
And yet there’s nothing you can do..
To steer from what
Your Soul Seeks To Create.

I love this <3
I was reading it trying to imitate the way you read your poems, of course with no success, because only you can do it in my opinion.

When are you gonna pass by the poetry class and let us enjoy this there? ;)

One thing I couldn't understand is the way you use italic I know it has something to do with the tone of voice, or I guess, because I feel this is a spoken word poem. But I'd love to hear how you see things.

Aww amazing thank you so much brother :)

I will be doing all of these as audios over the course of the coming months one by one and uploading to my new soundcloud, which you can find here and has one or two things on there -->

Thanks for asking about the italics! For me, I tend to use them when I feel that particular line could be a one line poem in itself, or a title to another poem, or something particularly significant within the piece that could be considered and contemplated by itself... and potentially carry some of the most significant meaning...

You know the 80/20 rule? It exists everywhere in life, and to use this poem as an example - 80% of the key information is contained in only 20% of the text - the rest is context and filler...

So I guess subconsciously I try to italic that 20% that I feel has most value or significance to the people reading, even without the rest of the poem as a context for it.

I guess it's an invite for the reader to pause and also subconsciously direct more focus and energy to those particular patterns of words and their meaning outside of the story of the poem... my intention of which is to pass on some form of higher vibration through the words that are read <3

I hope it's working!

Thanks so much for reading and commenting.
