CIVILIZED

work
the days
round-the-clock
affect your life
fortune will follow
read and reread the past
we, running head over heels
caught butterflies and little birds
release them ceremoniously
fought against invisible enemies
we're supposed to be civilized people
grabbing somebody by the shoulder
silently focus on your wish
and giving them a good shake
to heal over the wound
very personal
made some progress
the bright lights
after
dark
