NEVER A ROMANCE EVER AFTER

some of us love the thrill
take a drill
bump! fake-gasped:
I’m so so sorry
had no idea ...
didn’t ...
couldn’t see
no, my dear
the one apologising
should be me
have a drink-
avec moi, s'il vous plait?
kept on talking
speaking language
had just come back
from a much-needed holiday
look your fill
dark suit
a beautiful tie
…and…
a wedding band
smirked inwardly
just pay the bill
so we can be on our way

Good poetry It translates the banality that relationships become, the rolls that are formed with almost no thread. Talk about the time you lose in that, without taking into account that life is a suspect, today we are and tomorrow, no. So much protocol!
