OUTLANDISH PROMISES

there are lots
of things
involved
many strings
attached
that can’t be
pulled off
feedback
of mockery
humour
and anger
recognizing
the red flags
trust yourself
again
getting
in touch
with your needs
buy more
than one
no longer looking
for rebounds
not trying to fill
a void left behind
ready
to move on
meet
new people
saying
the stupidest things
making
the most
outlandish promises
