![20180222_002654.jpg]( name is Kevin izundu. I live and work in Nigeria. Living in Nigeria has been a tough one in the sense that you will struggle to accomplish the slightest thing here. And for high school kid it seem to be the toughest battle you can imagine. Survival in Nigeria for children and teens has become a night mere. Children teens living in the outskirt and suburb of Nigeria have become a shadow of themselves.
Education is at the lowest ebb in Nigeria in fact it nothing to write home about. Kids in averagehigh schools cannot compete favourably with their counterparts due to lack of adequate education.
It is heartbreaking to see high school kids barely able to write their names correctly talk less of operating computers. You will agree with me that in this 21st century the world has gone digital and when you are not computer inclined you may not maximise opportunities around you. IT is playing a major role in making the world a global community. Now my question is where is Nigeria in this IT centuryMy passion is to ensure that two hundred high school kids are empowered with computer skills at the outskirts of Nigeria. I believe with computer skills they will be able to add value to the society. I have already started some humanitarian work already.
In the bid to accomplish this, I and my team have solicited for funding from appropriate bodies. And any aid we could get from you @dobartim in terms of laptops will be well appreciated. With a laptop in each classroom we will be able to accomplish our goal of empowering two hundred high school kids with computer skills to make them more valuable to their society.
