Steemit Sandwich Contest Week # 18 (Theme: Simple Bread) - 2nd Entry: Apple Pie Toast
Again, all my sandwiches this week are going to be easy, simple and no fuse. As mentioned in my 1st Entry, there is nothing more important than simplifying your life during the holiday season.
My second sandwich is also an easy peasy sandwich and on a healthier and lighter side. I used bread as the base and made a apple pie toast out of it.
The ingredients are simple as usual:
- Bread
- Green and Red apples
- Cream Cheese
- Sugar
- Cinnamon
- Butter
The steps are easy to follow too:
- Slice apples
- Spread cream cheese on bread
- Layer apples on top of bread
- Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon and butter
- Bake in oven for 20 minutes at 350
The outcome is this simple apple pie toast which I had for breakfast. Seriously, I did not feel guilty at all eating this as opposed to a real apple pie.
My goal for the month of December is to save room for good food at my upcoming parties and so eating light at home is a must, lol!
