Steemit Sandwich Contest Week #47
Classic old-school Tuna Club Sandwich
Is this a weird sandwich? I would have been commonplace years ago, but not today. It's rare these days to see a classic club sandwich. Usually, they have 3 slices of toast, are cut on the diagonal, and have frilly toothpicks to hold everything together. I modernized it a bit by including:
Sandwich components:
3 slices of Rosemary Olive Oil bread (toasted)
tuna salad
sliced ripe globe tomatoes with freshly cracked pepper
baby kale
thinly sliced scallions
a couple of fancy bamboo toothpicks to keep it all together
Serve it with a half sour pickle and some Dr. Brown's cream soda and you have a satisfying lunch and decent entry for week #47
Nice one! I used to love cream soda as a kid! By the way, the rosemary olive oil bread sounds amazing, did you buy it or make it yourself?
Our local supermarket has a bakery section. It's amazing when you get it right after it's baked!!!
Noice, diggin the pickle ;)
Good choice to double decker that shiat, rosemary olive oil bread sounds dope ~
