Steemit Sandwich Contest Week #67 - Green Mung Dal Pancake Tower
SteemFest3 is but a memory for those fortunate enough to have attended. I've enjoyed reading some posts about it as well as seen a little more of Poland through the eyes of some real nice Steemians.
One very sad post by @slobberchops on Exploring Auschwitz, is a stark reminder of a very dark time in the world's history.
Sadly, Steem has been falling, some people are missing in action, yet now is the time to steem even more and a good time to select the 100% Power Up option for post rewards.
Do yourself a favour and have a look at @carlgnash's Post where he tells us a little more about the benefits of doing just that right now.
One sure thing here on Steemit is Steemit Sandwich Contest, hosted by the talented musician/ song writer Manwich Maker aka @jaybird, a very kind young man I have to add, who has been sponsoring this contest all on his own for a while now.
We're already into Week #67, and I urge you to enter - so easy, we all make sandwiches, so why not have some fun with it and join us - you not only stand to win some steem but also get to meet some real lovely people!
In light of the falling price of Steem, I made a budget beater sandwich, a delicious Green Mung Dal Pancake Tower which rises above all the other pancake stacks I've ever made, hoping Steem starts rising soon as well - 6 layers of Pancakes with a delicious fragrant Green Mung Dal filling - green Mung Beans which costs next to nothing turned into a mild spicy and fragrant dal, and topped with home grown Mung Bean sprouts - yep Mung Beans done two-ways, a real super food!

MUNG BEAN SPROUTS
I was gifted a sprouting set by my son so always have sprouts on my window sill, great for adding to salads, sandwiches, smoothies or whatever takes your fancy.
- Very easy to grow your own, all you need is a glass bottle & a top with holes punched for drainage.
- Soak mung beans overnight, drain in the morning, leave bottle on its side & rinse twice a day till ready for eating - usually takes about 3-4 days.
Assembly line

I could see those being mini sandwiches and served as appetizers.
Oh that would work very well!
That sounds and looks so good,
I to am noticing a few people falling away from Steemit, I plan on staying for the long term, but that said I will be taking a bit of a break for the next week, will still be popping in but no where near as active for the coming week as I usually am
