Steemit Sandwich Contest Week #1 - Moroccan Batbout stuffed with homemade beef patties!
Hello my dear Steemians friends!
For the first time since I joined Steemit, I am going to participate in a contest!
I am so glad to join the #steemitsandwichcontest organized by @jaybird! The sandwich I made has a Moroccan touch to it as I come from Morocco!
I hope you will like it!
NAME :
Moroccan Batbout stuffed with homemade beef patties
INGREDIENTS :
- Batbout (Moroccan Pita Bread)
- Beef patties
- Mayo
- Tomato
- Gherkins
- Onion rings
- Cucumber
- Lettuce
ADDITIONAL INFO :
Batbout is a very famous Moroccan bread which is quite like pita bread. I cooked it myself this morning to realize this sandwich recipe.
The beef patties is also homemade and is a mixture of mild spices, ground beef and cheddar cheese.
When you assemble all the ingredients together is it just an explosion of flavors in your mouth when you eat it!
You can add additional cheese if you wish!
It was really very tasty and I had 2 pieces for lunch!!!

I really like the look and sound of this sandwich. Was glad to learn about Batbouts and Gherkins, having never heard of either of those things before.
