My second Week in @jaybird ’s contest and my first proper entry (watch that paper tag newcomers)
Le Tortoise Piquant
Ingredients:
Homemade whole flour bread
French salami with walnuts
French cheese kinda like Brie
Green pickled jalapenos
Green olives
This is a mixture of flavours, but more so of textures, those olives and jalapenos add a lot of unexpected texture mashup.
Ya this one really speaks. Great combo of flavours it sounds like.

Yeah only 3.
I thought the record was 5 and was thinking about it, but it would've been a mash-up of these ingredients and since it was 8, seems like a good decision to stick with 3.

Ya, not sure if 8 entries is touchable tbh lol. They were all serious entries too! Not just like 8 tiny sandwiches made of similar stuff.
I'm sure they were amazing if @steemit-foodie made them, is she the record holder ?
I think it's touchable, but you definitely need to plan it and go shopping specifically for this purpose... Can't just do a fridge run and come up with something...
For these 3 I got the fat bacon which I was going to get anyway, and the olives.
So just the olives specifically for the contest.
