Now you can use the same WhatsApp account on up to four phones
WhatsApp users can now use the same account on up to four phones simultaneously, a feature that has been introduced globally. The "One WhatsApp account, now across multiple phones" allows multiple employees to send and receive messages from the same business number on different devices. The synced messages are encrypted, and access is independent of other phones. The feature will be rolled out in the coming weeks and will help small businesses that require a single phone number for communication. Users must scan a QR code from the primary account to link a device.
You do not need to worry about having one WhatsApp account and more than one phone, as now you can use the same account on up to four phones at the same time.
“Starting today, you can log into the same WhatsApp account on up to four phones,” said Mark Zuckerberg, announcing the feature
While the feature has been long available, known as multi-device, it only allowed users to access WhatsApp from browsers, computers, or Android tablets alongside their primary phone.

Although, now users can use it to log in to your other phones as well, but not more than four.
WhatsApp describes this feature as “One WhatsApp account, now across multiple phones,” which is already rolling out to users worldwide and will be available for all in the coming weeks.
WhatsApp users can now link up to four devices with same account
While it will be helpful for those who use different phones and want the same WhatsApp account on all of them, WhatsApp sees this as a valuable feature for small businesses, allowing multiple employees to send and receive messages from the same business number on different phones.
With this update, the messages, up to a year, will be synced across the different phones. So, even if your one phone is switched off, you can still access your messages on other phones, as each phone connects individually. All your chats, media, and calls will be end-to-end encrypted on every phone. If your primary device remains inactive for a long time, our WhatsApp will automatically log you out of all the companion phones.

Instead of entering your phone number and logging in as usual during setup, you can tap on a new "link to existing account" feature. You will then see a QR code that can be scanned by your primary phone through the "link a device" option in settings, and you will be logged in to the second phone.
This feature will be available on both WhatsApp for Android and iOS.
