We need more poets
not empty politicians
We the people
need artists to speak
the truth of now
We march with the wise
no idiots allowed
Haven't we had enough
of the dumbing down initiative?
To what end citizenry?
Hypocrisy ran it's course
Are you tired yet?
Surely you broke your mirror
when your reflection snapped
in fake godliness exploits
A mental pandemic
poisoned this zeitgeist
The need to be exceptional
almost covered the blood stains
Almost but then age is truth
when your bones brittle
you fall break bleed
Youth is truth future now
I flip my time to youth
Remember respect the wise
The elders in your life
The community of loving kindness
A covenant never broken
Let you scream enough
till your eyes faked it
Helped you find your path
in this future birthright
