steemitphotochallenge #18 - entry 2 - train

Taken today for the steemitphotochallenge.

I decided to use long exposure photography to enhance the feeling of speed for this weeks transport theme.
These were my first attempts at long exposure photography of trains.
It required a lot of patience, stood in the rain. The weather is not good in the U.K. where i am atm.

I set the tripod up and experimented with exposure times.

Fuji X-E1 - xf lm ois 18 - 55.mm lens.
Manfrotto tripod.
No cropping, basic processing in cs6.


iso 1250. exposure 1/2sec, f/4

      It was difficult to choose between your second and third entries. On the third picture is more pronounced slow shutter speed effect. And I like colors on the second. Taking into account that in the second picture the wires can be seen better, I think they reinforce a sense of perspective. So my choice is number two. 8)
      And yes! Coooool quality! 8))
