Great captures @outerground. I'm always in awe of nature and it's precision and order- the distance between ribs on a leaf or the concentric rings in a tree....amazing!
thanks @jaymorebeet me too. I find the micro-structures of our world so interesting. I thin they have to be that precise or everything would fall to pieces !! when we go even smaller, they're even more precise again. What I really love is that when we pop back up in the large scale world the shapes we see & that we use are the same, borrowed from the micro scale..
trees look like moss from an aeroplane window and tulips look just like the tiny flowers on moss. the skin on the beech leaf could be an Elephants.. @fractalizer knows a thing or two about that !
Beauty is only skin deep
Love it...but wanna hear what I thought it was at first, from the first picture as a thumbnail? ;) :D
something rude ! ?
ahahaha no, I'm a food person - I thought it was an ice cream !!! :D (I wish :P )
that's pretty close.. a mr whippy ! yes it does look like a whippy ice cream..wouldn't be very macro though !! unless it had the chopped nuts and strawberry sauce
Why are you doing this to me? :P When it comes to food photography, everything is possible....because FOOD :D
