There are some things that you see and just know you have to get a snap quick. My niece, just two and looking at a card as if reading it beside the Christmas tree! It was nostalgic and festive all at the same time.
It was fairly dim in the lounge and the lights from the tree emphasised that and made the shadows darker behind her.
Taken on my Samsung and converted to black and white with the Snapseed app, a vignette was also added to enhance the black at the edges.
