Steemit Photo Challenge #43 Derelict Abandoned Mining Town
Terlingua, TX, was once a booming mining town in the late 1880's. The town of Terlingua still exist today, with The Starlight Theatre bar, a few restaurants and a gallery. Terlingua is located between Big Bend National Park and Big Bend State Park. A few of the old abandoned miner's homes still stand. The ruins of rock, weathered wood from a doorway or window laying in the hot desert sun fading from the sun, wind, rain and time.
