Me too. And they are so hard to get in Portugal fresh. And very expensive.

Don't you grow them in Portugal? Here we buy blueberries, well what's called Big blueberries, from Spane, yes thy cost. But the best are the wild ones we pick ourself every autumn here in the wilderness in Iceland, nothing compares to them. But they are much smaller and softer, crush between your fingers if you are not careful.
Never saw Portuguese blueberries. Maybe on the island... but I doubt it. It is not their climate. and the forests are completely different. In Poland though they grow in most woods and I think the season is about to start. They are ready to pick in early summer.
They might be growing the american one here (as we call them) in some farms. But still it is not a popular thing here. Raspberries and currants are expensive too. Never saw a gooseberry here.
