"FOAM WOMAN RISING"
As it is underlined in Haida mythology, there are three locations where human were brought forth and therefore inhabit the mystical islands of the archipelago of Haida Gwaii. The very first human to be found by the ever ravenous and more importantly mischievous Raven, were discovered inside a clam shell on the shores of Naikoon where Sea Foam Woman had deposited the precious clam...
Not only is this story underlining the sacred presence of a very important food source, the surf clam found in great abundance on the shores of North Beach, but it also represents the sacredness of the location itself having bared the very first humans. the location itself is still greatly revered by all coming to the islands and much more so by the local inhabitants who visit the place, not unlike one would do during a retreat or a weekly visit to a church, finding that within its realms one's soul is assuaged.
